52 Weeks of Groceries: Week Two

It’s week two of my grocery list series, and I’ve been getting so much great feedback from many of you over the past week! I hope over the next 50 weeks, these will be really beneficial to you, and I’m excited about the fun recipes and ideas I have coming for you all, too!

If you missed last week’s grocery list, lucky you! Because that means you already have TWO WEEKS of groceries hand-picked for you!

A few reminders I’ll probably post for you every single week just in case anyone is hopping in for the first time:

  • I typically only grocery shop for 5 days of the week. I used to do a full 7 days and ended up wasting a lot of food, so I cut it down to 5! If you prefer 7, make sure to add enough for leftovers or additional meals.

  • Don’t forget…many of my staple items will NOT be included on the list each week (otherwise, you’d end up with a lifetime supply of some of those items!), so bookmark this staples list and only purchase those items when you’re low or completely out.

  • I also created a spice rack for you! These are many of my favorite spices (and the actual brands I use!) to create new meals with the same ingredients. I’ll be adding to this one pretty frequently, so make sure you bookmark this one, too!

  • These grocery lists are created for 2 adults, so if you have additional mouths to feed, take that into consideration!

Without further ado, I’m excited to share this week’s grocery list with you, followed by the meals I plan to make with them!

52 Weeks of Groceries

My meal plan for this list includes:

Protein shakes
Protein oatmeal with berries
Slow cooker spiced apple steel cut oatmeal (steel cut oats, chopped apple, cinnamon, nutmeg, cashew milk, and vanilla protein powder! So perfect for fall!)

Roasted veggie salad with hard-boiled egg
Stuffed sweet potato (I love this because it’s so easy! I pop the sweet potato into the microwave while I continue to work for about 10 minutes. I stuff mine with spic ground turkey, which can be prepped on Sunday, broccoli, margarine, and parmesan!)
Leftover dinners

White Chicken Chili (shown in the photo below!)
Curry Chicken and Roasted Vegetables (I roast the peppers and broccoli in the oven while I’m cooking the chicken on the stovetop. Set aside part of the roasted broccoli for stuffed sweet potatoes at lunch, and use the remaining for the curry. Add the coconut milk and desired amount of curry to the chicken with the veggies and stir to coat evenly. So good!)
Pork Roast with Smashed Potatoes and Sauteed Spinach (I reserve roasts for busy days when I need to throw something in the crockpot first thing in the morning!)
BBQ Salad (I use my leftover pork and mix it with BBQ sauce, throw it on top of some spinach with corn, peppers, and beans)

Apple with peanut butter
Protein bar (my favorites in the staples grocery list)
Chocolate protein muffins (OBSESSED with these Betty Rocker protein muffins! So good!)
